To request your MP's position on this scandal
Dear (MP's name),
Re: The News Of The World hacking scandal and Rupert Murdoch
As one of your constituents, I am writing to enquire what your position is on the recent hacking scandal that has enveloped the News Of The World and News International. I would also like to express my concerns about the potential takeover of BSKYB by Rupert Murdoch and I hope that you will actively campaign against this takeover as I feel it has serious implications given the obvious corrupt activities of News International.
I look forward to hearing your thoughts on these matters.
Yours sincerely

No longer needed since Murdoch has withdrawn the BSkyB bid
Dear (MP's name),
Regard the BSkyB vote
As one of your constituents, I am writing to you about the commons vote regarding Rupert Murdoch's bid for BSkyB that I understand is taking place on Wednesday. I would like to express my concern about the activities of News International as an organisation in light of current revelations about the phone hacking scandal and would like it very much if you voted against allowing Rupert Murdoch to acquire the rest of BSkyB.
I would also draw your attention to the many petitions regarding this issue that have gained massive amounts of support such as this one (http://www.38degrees.org.uk/page/s/murdoch-deal-petition) which clearly shows that many people are very concerned about the idea of allowing Rupert Murdoch to takeover BSkyB.
I await your response.
Yours sincerely

Dear *INPUT NAME*,
News International has long attested to other’s morally doubtful adventures, highlighting wrongdoings and other nefarious acts – some rightfully, some wrongfully, but all in the name of squeezing more money out of the public via sales. Now, News International are caught up in a large storm of their own making, which has already caused the demise of News of the World – the centre paper in the Hurricane currently seeking to land on the press agencies’ headquarters in Canary Wharf.
In the light of the latest scandal to hit News International - and in the knowledge that this scandal reflects practices that have been ongoing for many years, I ask that you join with the public and condemn News International for their undertakings in Phone Hacking and other morally doubtful journalism techniques.
We ask that you do this whilst also calling on the Government for an immediate, in-depth inquiry into the state of the current-journalism practices on a very broad level, in order for the industry to return to its former glorified status of a world leading News-machine, rather than what it currently represents today.
Yours sincerely
