We have decided to cease advertising in News International publications until further notice
Renault Customer Relations
======================= Co-Op
We appreciate that there are strong feelings amongst some of our members and customers on the emerging 'phone hacking' scandal. We are actively monitoring the vast amount of coverage that is emerging and regularly considering our position. We have noted the calls by some for a boycott of News International, but also suggestions that malpractice may be more widespread in the media.
On all ethical decisions we seek to take a considered and balanced view, and in this case this includes taking into account factors such as the need for a diverse and free press. So whilst we are as disgusted as many at what is emerging, we believe that the right thing to do is to continue to monitor the situation and not to engage in a broader public boycott of News International.
